Still some golf to decide the places but well done Paul!
Thanks to you all for playing and raising an amazing total for Thames Hospice. There will of course be an email to confirm all the prize winners in due course.
An amazing Masters Sunday.
Good night
Some birdies due to come through on the website which will change things
Colin shares the lead on Sunday on 8 under
Bifco 2 clear but he has only 2 holes left - can anyone catch him?
Joan leads by two from her father in law Antonio. Keeping it in the (Keen) family.
Adam Worthington has taken the lead on the MC1 table.
Faz Shoaib has taken the lead on the Sunday table at 8 under
Brian Cole and Rob Jones now lead the Par contest on 52
Tom Huddlestone will go to 9 under - a share of 11th - with that Rory eagle on 13
No one will believe me but when Rory birdied the 1st I did say that Rory would shoot a low one today.
Greg Smith leads today on 7 under
Carolinekeen is top of the birdies contest and Cpops (from the Keen Family league) is up to joint 2nd
Joan Berkeley still leading the Bogey contest (also Keen Family)
Caroline and Joan both went to Dublin to escape the golf and are now in contention!
Big excitement here
Did Tiger just say that St Andrews is his favourite golf course in the world while standing in the Augusta clubhouse?
Nicoss United and Samarora are 4 under today. Samarora was a OOISTHUIZEN casualty. And also Josh Ellis now.
The Par contest is tight! 11 people within 2 of the leader - Annie Lerner 3
The leaders tee off in about 2 hours and a number of the leaders in our competition still do not have a golfer on the course yet.
Sunday leaders - Bradleyblue, Arthur 6 and Harry Beasley all on 3 under.
Leads on Sunday...with a few others on 2 under
We have a competition for Bogeys but what about Double Bogeys and Treble Bogeys (or worse)?
Johnathan King, James Dawkins 2, Christian Rasmussen, Amanda Humphreys, Kevin Dighton have all had 5 double bogeys
Copsey Copsey , Jo Fowden, Ntucker3, Brian Smith, Charlie Mc 1 have all had 2 treble bogeys (or worse!)
I knew I would get a shout out for Nick Tucker in somehow.
Tyrell HATTON narrowly misses yet another eagle on 2nd (he eagled it on Friday). Misses by an inch or so. Just a birdie. Alex Portas is one of the 20 on that hole and he moves up to joint 6th on 9 under.
Thomas Grantham was hoping for a Scheffler birdie on 18 to get into a share of the Saturday prize - needs a miracle now!
Anyone else think that the constant putting on and taking off of the gilet must be offputting?
Bifco Wakey is up there on 13 under now.
Ed Roberts (NOT PAID) - whoops, an expensive error
Chris Leonard (NOT PAID) too!
Jack Bamford from Windlesham Golf Club has 18 birdies (not far behind David Harrison the leader). Surely that puts him near the top of the table? No, he is 363rd due to his 8 bogeys today. Only 1 par on the card after 17 holes! I thought 8 bogeys would be a high today. Kate Elliot can beat that - she has 9 today - that's a lot of nasty alerts.
Bad luck Christopher Rose - you were looking good there for a while
No one had Scwartzel on that hole sadly
Charlie Baister up to 26th with a 7 under round today.
Annie Lerner and Peter Goodman now lead the Par contest with 42 but Peter has 3 holes to play
David Harrison now out in front for Birdies - he is 15th overall
Dan Corry is back into a share of the lead with JackSteadman22. Dan won this competition in 2016 and the Open competition in 2011. What is your secret Dan?
Brian O'Connor leads the MC1 Table
Tom May still leads the MC2 Table
Archie Whiting (aged 13) leads the MC3 Table by a clear 2 shots - hope your Dad gave you permission to gamble Archie?
Marinecarl is leading MC4+ by an amazing 5 shots - surely no one can catch him?
Rich Schimpf's golfers appear to be hitting a surprising run of form which has allowed Joan Berkeley to take the lead with 19 - from 53 holes - amazing form Joan!
Huge is our new leader on 11 under
Richy Owen is 5 under today
https://twitter.com/philly_no1/status/1512859289785937922?s=20&t=XTxiw9_tbsjSWgaq4hgecA
Huge notches up 16 birdies and that takes him into a share of the lead at 10 under with JackSteadman22 and Dan Corry.
But the best today Michael Bonallack is 4 under today
Archie Fogden has put the disappointment of losing SCHAUFFELE to the cut and his remaining 5 golfers have got him 2 under for the day which puts him top of the Saturday table.
Also (keeping it in the family) Alex Baker takes a share of the lead in the Par contest.
We have teed off with Adam Scott bogeying the 1st for 9 people, including Andrew Davis Reserves in 662nd place before play started.
The Missed Cut Tables are up. We have decided to go with 4 categories instead of 3 and there has been a minor adjustment to the prizes.
Missed Cuts 1 = 905 players £300 prize
Missed Cuts 2 = 572 players £250 prize
Missed Cuts 3 = 180 players £200 prize
Missed Cuts 4+ = 27 players £200 prize
Also look out for the Saturday prize - remember that excludes missed cut bogeys
I will summarise where we are in our competition and what happens with the cut in the morning. Good night.
We are moving towards the point when it starts to become clear who is going to miss the cut. Rose and Spieth look likely to be on that list. Spieth with a double bogey on the last (ouch).
https://twitter.com/jeffkeencharity/status/1512522945742131202?s=20&t=l4tPWJNoAYIwGnN_5hc4yw
Tom Norman-Butler and Dan Frankcom take a share of the lead on 10 under.
Tom Huddlestone muscling in on the Friday prize with Ruli
Peter Goodman leading the Par competition with 28 after 32 holes played
What's this? Spieth puts 2 balls in the water at the 12th and Willetts is at the top of the leaderboard?
The average score yesterday was +2. Today we are at +7. So if like me you are getting persistent Bogey scoring alerts, don't worry, you are in very good company. Glen Morescu is still top of the best golfers table (not on website), alongside Shaun Mcsorley - both at 11 under.
Hvv is leading the Par contest
Hendo'S Heroes is leading the birdies with 12 and is in 5th spot, just 1 behind the leaders
Rich Schimpf still leading the Bogey contest
Dan Corry remains at the top on 9 under with Alex Portas, Paul Beard and Jack Steadman22. Alex is 4 under today courtesy of 2 eagles - that is just greedy. Alex is just one of 4 people with 2 eagles so far. Jack is one of those 4 too.
Ruli Viljoen is leading on Friday at 6 under. I know she will be jumping up and down with excitement! A HOVLAND eagle on the 8th helped
Bad luck to those that selected him (257) - you score bogeys for the 2nd round - them is the rules - sorry
Hazel Cooper leads the race for the Friday prize with 3 quick birdies on 1 , 2 and 3. That moves her to level par.
Henry Lamb 1 and 'Swinging and Winging' now have 19 pars each.
Jay2 leads the birdie contest with 10 - he is 2nd on the main leaderboard.
Rich Schimpf is running away with the Bogey contest - another one added today - he is 2 clear.
Josh Wyllie is the only person in the field with 2 eagles. Tyrell HATTON on the 2nd this time. Sorry, no prize for that one.
You would think that it's all about that. But Herb Jacklin's golfers are 16 under and he is 357th
Daniel Corry has not once but twice before won a competition and he is up there again at the top of the leaderboard on 8 under with Jdb3 and Jamie Lambert.
Matt Parkinson joins the chase for Pars with 15 today - He is in the clubhouse.
Tee times were delayed by 30 minutes so it's going to be a late one tonight.
I see that the Waverton kitchen is leading the Waverton table - Amanda and Copsey fighting it out for the lead.
Harrison Smith is a former multiple prize winner in the JKCC. Fighting it out for the Bogey competition this time though with a few others on 7. Long way to go.
Paul Lawson won the Open 2021 competition with 30 birdies in 72 holes. This time ? 4 birdies (not bad) but languishing in mid table on 1 over. The birdie contest is being led by Craig Arthur and Jane Groves (8 each) and unsurprisingly they lead the main leaderboard.
Hope you get good news on the alerts. Bit of an issue with the link to scorecards there too but we are fixing it.
1105 out of 2160 entries picked Cameron SMITH and he is at the top of the leaderboard. You guys are good!
Brian O'Connor is off to a fast start with 5 birdies from 8 holes. That is money making form.
David Hannis and Janet Roc 1 are in the lead on the Par competition (with 9 each)
Rich Schimpf Beer Snob is leading the bogeys contest with 6 - were you trying to win that Rich?
Also, just to clear up another bit of confusion which I appeared to have caused. If you had Casey, the substitution was decided for you (as per competition rules published on this website). You don't get to choose!
I see that IM (one of the replacements) has started with 3 birdies!
Let me restate the syntax for the URL to get to your scorecard (because I have sent out incorrect links in emails today!)
It needs to be : - " https://www.jeffkeencharitychallenge.co.uk/competition/masters-2022/entries?entryId=XXXXX"
where "XXXXX" is your 5 digit ID e.g. M22-XXXXX.
So this is a link to one of my entries
https://www.jeffkeencharitychallenge.co.uk/competition/masters-2022/entries?entryId=90053
If you're using Safari and still having problems I am told putting a space at the very beginning of the link prevents Apple from putting a ".com" on the end which then makes it fail to work.
272 people picked Casey and are eligible for a replacement (as he hadn't teed off). Of those 272, 249 will get FITZPATRICK, 11 will get FLEETWOOD, 3 get HATTON and 9 get IM. As I write, your scorecards will be updating.
Apologies for time taken to get that sorted - but it was complicated and it was important to get it right! Important business going on here.
If you selected Paul Casey, as per the competition rules, you will get the next available player on the list. For most that will be Matthew FITZPATRICK or possibly Tommy FLEETWOOD. Everyone affected will get an email to confirm their new selections. Bear with me.
You don't lose the old magic. Jose starts off with a nice birdie at the 1st in the first group out.
Surely no one picked him? Yes they did. Pookie goes to the top of the leaderboard!

Masters Champion Hideki Matsuyama Withdraws From Valero Texas Open - Morning Read (si.com)
If he withdraws a large number of entrants will need to change their entries or accept the first valid alternative on the list - those would be Patrick REED, Scottie SCHEFFLER or perhaps Cameron SMITH.
To maximise the pot for charity, this time we are manually reconciling payments to entries. Please make sure that your payment has your entry ID as a reference. Delays in reconciliation may invalidate your entry. Thanks.
